Did you know?
Alex has traveled through Africa, India, Australia, and the Americas, writing and painting as he goes. He is the creator of a unique method of painting called Abstract Naturalism, a combination of abstract expressionism and naturalist environmental art in which he layers abstract lines with the golden ratio and the intrinsic way animals move in nature.
In 2012 Alex created The Watering Hole Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to saving endangered wildlife and preserving the Earth’s remaining wilderness. Through local initiatives, both in the United States and abroad, the Foundation strives to preserve the natural environment and its inhabitants, spreading awareness of these conservation efforts, and raising funds to help these initiatives succeed.
Alex will participate in the show on Thursday, May 5th and Friday, May 6th. Prior to the show’s opening night on Thursday, Alex will read his illustrated books to lower school students and will motivate middle school students to take action and help preserve the Earth's natural environments and wildlife.
