Connecting Through Art
Celebrating its 43rd year, The Harding Art Show is the oldest school-sponsored fine art show in Middle Tennessee. This three-day event brings together the greater Nashville community for a weekend of art and celebration.
Erin McIntosh is an artist and educator living in Athens, Georgia. She is known for colorful abstractions exploring dynamic compositions made up of organic and geometric forms in acrylic and watercolor. Erin discovered her love of abstraction while studying fine arts at The University of Georgia (B.F.A., M.F.A.) earning both Bachelors (2003) and Masters (2009) degrees with a concentration in Drawing and Painting and also she has a B.F.A. in Art Education (2003).
Erin has exhibited her work throughout the southeast including at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, GA.. New American Paintings has published Erin’s work (twice) and it was most recently published in Create! Magazine, juried by Philadelphia-based gallerist Bridgette Mayer.
Erin loves to travel and has spent semesters in both Ireland and Italy including three semesters teaching for The University of Georgia’s Cortona, Italy Study Abroad Program.
In 2012, Erin joined the faculty the University of North Georgia in Gainesville where she is an Assistant Professor. Her paintings are represented by Gregg Irby Gallery in Atlanta.
